			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The reason Elizabeth is considered by me to be both generation 7 and 8 is because she gave birth to my 6th generation ancestor James Slipp and my 7th generation ancestors Magdaline Slip and Catherine Slip. For the sake of clarity, I will refer to Elizabeth&#8217;s parents as being from my 9th generation only, even though clearly they belong to both my 8th and 9th generations of ancestors through different lineages.</p>
<p>Elizabeth Reisner (Ryson) daughter of Johannes Reissner and Anna Catharina Hauser married Leonard Slipp in 1772. Elizabeth was born on 18 Dec 1756 <a href="#1">[1]</a>. She died on 9 Feb 1821. She was buried in Queenstown, Queens, New Brunswick. Elizabeth joined religion <a href="#1">[2]</a> Member, German Reformed Church on 4 Mar 1774 in New York City, New York.</p>

<p>Anna Catharina (Hausauer) Reisner was admitted to the German Reformed Church of New York City in about 1759.</p>

<p>Johann Caspar Reisner and Anna Catharina Steinmann, a widow, were married in Philadelphia on 30 April 1755.</p>

<p>George Slipp of Hampstead, N.B., told Rick Crume in 1993 that Elizabeth (Ryson) Slipp’s mother, Catherine was buried in the Slipp/Merritt Cemetery at Queenstown, Queens County, N.B., along with Leonard and Elizabeth. Rick thinks he said Catherine’s grave marker says she died in July 1812 at age 94. That would mean she was born in about 1718.</p>
<p><strong>CHILDREN</strong></p>
<p>Elizabeth (Reisner) Slip was born 18 Dec. 1756 (according to the Family bible record of George Leonard Slipp, born 1819) or in 1757, according to other sources. Maybe there’s a record of her baptism in Philadelphia church records. She joined the German Reformed Church of New York City in 1774.</p>
