		<description>My Loyalist ancestor was John Colwell who is buried in the Merritt-Slipp cemetery.  Two of his grandchildren (children of Eleanor Colwell and John Oakley) married Slipps as shown in your descendants list above.  I would love to visit Queenstown and the cemetery, but as I live in Kansas now, it won&#039;t be soon.  Do you know of anyone who might be able to answer questions about John Colwell&#039;s gravestone?  Specifically, what is inscribed on it (if still legible)?  Also, on a genforum post a few years ago someone mentioned the existence of another marker (possibly a fieldstone) near it that might mark the grave of his first wife, Hannah.  I&#039;d like to know if this is likely.  Lastly, I&#039;m curious as to why John might have been buried here rather than in Cambridge Parish across the river where his sons lived.</description>
