Catherine Clark (nee Slip)

Catherine Slipp was born on 20 Mar 1783 in New York, the daughter or Leonard Slip and Catherine Ryson. She died on 4 May 1816. Catherine married Elisha Clark Jr son of Elisha Clarke and Desire Gardiner on 15 Oct 1799. Elisha was born in 1776 in Rhode Island. He died in 1817.

Elisha and Catherine had the following children:

1. Mary Ann Clark.
2. James G Clark. James married Jane Smith on 30 Jan 1838. Jane died on 17 Jan 1889.
3. Elisha Clark. Elisha married (1) Mary Ann Van Wart. Mary was born in 1820. She died on 20 Jan 1853. Elisha married (2) Frances Thomson daughter of Alexander Thomson and Sophrona E Webb on 4 Nov 1856. Frances was born on 3 Nov 1835 in Hampstead, Queens, New Brunswick.
4. Isaac Clark. Isaac married Phoebe Ann Earle on 27 Mar 1850.
5. Elizabeth Clark was born on 8 Jan 1800. She died on 5 Jan 1887. Elizabeth married Garret Van Wart son of Garret Van Wart and Nancy Ann Golding on 6 Jul 1819. Garret was born on 29 Dec 1799.
6. Sarah Clark was born in 1802. She died on 8 Oct 1873. Sarah married Isaac Van Wart son of Isaac Van Wart and Eleanor Bulyea on 27 Nov 1822. Isaac was born on 10 Mar 1802 in Wickham, Queens, New Brunswick. He died on 18 Jun 1876 in Woodstock, Carleton, New Brunswick.
7. William Leonard Clark was born in 1804. He died in 1892. He was buried in Hampstead, Queens, New Brunswick. William married (1) Mary Connor on 12 May 1829. Mary was born in 1808. She died in 1854. She was buried in Hampstead, Queens, New Brunswick. William married (2) Charlotte Amanda Slip daughter of Deacon William Slipp and Hannah Anna Gaunce on 12 Mar 1859. Charlotte was born on 6 May 1828. She died on 17 Jan 1884. She was buried in Hampstead, Queens, New Brunswick.
8. Benjamin Clark was born in 1805. He died on 7 Dec 1847. Benjamin married Maria Jane Smith on 11 Dec 1830. Maria was born in 1810. She died on 1 Jul 1883.
9. Hannah Clark was born on 2 May 1807. She died on 6 Sep 1835. Hannah married William McLeod on 6 Feb 1827. William was born on 11 Dec 1802. He died on 27 Aug 1882.
10. George Clark was born on 12 Jun 1812 in Hampstead, Queens, New Brunswick. He died on 11 Feb 1878. He was buried in Hampstead, Queens, New Brunswick. George married Ruth Peters Merritt daughter of Abraham Merritt and Ruth S Peters on 10 Dec 1835. Ruth was born in 1819. She died on 15 May 1891. She was buried in Hampstead, Queens, New Brunswick.
